What's New
It's officially summer-time and we're kicking things off on Monday, July 7th at 11am with YMR's orientation for new and returning participants. Folks will get a chance to meet one another and find out how to get involved with all of the happenings and opportunities taking place this summer.
If you haven't heard it yet, be sure to pick up a copy of YMR's fifth CD release "Free*Style." It is by far YMR's strongest collection of music yet, with styles ranging across the spectrum.
This summer we've organized YMR's house band called the "Back-Line," which is led by Raul Perales, a multi-instrumentalist and Bay-Area institution. This band will bring tremendous life to YMR's live show and recordings and be a great learning laboratory for young players.
Beyond that, it's all the stuff you've come to expect from YMR - our Mad Hatter's open mic event will remain every third Wednesday of the month, special events coming up like SF Carnaval, and many other spring-time events.
