Green For All Academy Training
Hello beautiful people of the East Bay my name is Tania Pulido and on November 3-6th I attended a Green for All Academy training. I underwent the training with 23 other very diverse individuals from all over country. We all came together for various reasons, primarily around green jobs. The Green for All Academy aims to spread and support climate change solutions and uplift a green economy in America.

After the 3.5 day training all participants agreed in a 9-month term of service as an ambassadors in the communities we all work in. The training was not only diverse in ethnicity but in the work we all do in our communities, such as food security, water conservation, technology, renewable energy, petroleum engineer, and much more. The conversation we had was amazing, educational and transformative. It was a breath of fresh air to hear so many people gathered together talking about the change we need in our economy.
I encourage people to check out the Green for All website and learn more about green jobs.
Green jobs are the fastest growing job sector in California because its potential of regenerating jobs and creating a more sustainable source of energy, food, water, and almost anything you can think of. As some of you know Climate Change is an issue we are hearing more often now and days. It’s really up to the future agents of change, youth, to advocate for green jobs and ecological justice in their communities. Pollution and waste is an issue affecting communities of color first and worst. Contact me at pulido.tania[at]gmail.com if you are interested in learning or engaging in this movement.
